As Vice President of Marketing & Business Development for Spa Revolutions, Melissa Mao brings forth over 13 years of experience in marketing, business and product development, and sales. Melissa is not only responsible for all corporate branding, product branding and promotional events for the company, but sets the tone for the overall strategic direction of the business.

Melissa joined Spa Revolutions' team in 2005 as its first employee, seeing the opportunity to help build a revolutionary company. Her strong work ethic, tireless ambition, creativity, and analytical prowess were the driving force behind industry-wide name and product brand recognition within the first year.

Melissa graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in both Communications and Fine Arts from the University of California, San Diego. Prior to joining Spa Revolutions, Melissa served as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at a Your Needs, a wholesale distributor in Ventura, California. Under her guidance and expertise, the company’s revenues increased 300% while cultivating an incredible corporate client base.

Melissa is trilingual (English, Mandarin, and Cantonese) and currently resides in South Escondido, California. She is an avid reader, artist, and is known in the office for her razor sharp verbal repertoire.
